Suspect Who Shot Trump Is Thomas Matthew Crooks

BUTLER, USA (Worthy News) – The gunman who shot and injured former U.S. President Donald J. Trump has been identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.

He used an assault rifle to shoot from the roof of a nearby building before being killed by special forces, footage studied by Worthy News showed, raising serious questions about security arrangements. His motives were not immediately clear, but Saturday’s attack came amid concerns about growing polarization in the United States.

Trump was shot during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, but the bullet miraculously did not hit his head but touched his ear.

America was less than an inch away from losing the former president.

Experts said had he moved his head differently, he would have been killed during the campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Trump, who emerged with a bloodied face, later said he was shot in the ear, describing a “whizzing sound” and feeling a “bullet ripping through the skin.” He still put his fist in the air, prompting the crowd to shout, “USA! USA!”

One spectator was killed at the rally, and two others were critically injured in the shootings, officials said. Authorities say the victims were adult males.

SECURITY QUESTIONS

Questions have been asked as to why nearby buildings were not secured. “We saw him crawling on the roof, but police did not react,” a witness said about the shooter.

Trump left the hospital after what the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) called an “assassination attempt.”

Worthy News witnessed that Trump left the hospital and arrived in New Jersey to return home. He expressed his condolences to the loved ones of the attendee who passed away in the shooting.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. called on Americans to put aside their political differences and pray for former President Trump after he was rushed off stage when apparent shots rang out.

He was nine years old when his uncle, President John F. Kennedy, was assassinated in 1963, and 14 when his father was assassinated while running for president in 1968.

“Now is the time for every American who loves our country to step back from the division, renounce all violence, and unite in prayer for President Trump and his family,” Kennedy wrote on social media platform X.

Kennedy, who is running against President Biden and Trump in the presidential election, had his requests for Secret Service protection denied.
