(Worthy News) – The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued new guidance on Wednesday that defines sex as an “immutable biological classification” of male and female, aligning with President Donald Trump’s executive orders. This updated policy restores the concept of biological truth regarding the two sexes.
Following President Donald Trump’s executive order banning biologically male transgender women from competing against biological women and his pledge to only recognize two sexes, the new guidance was issued.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., newly sworn-in as HHS Secretary on Thursday, stated in a news release, “This administration is bringing back common sense and restoring biological truth to the federal government. The prior administration’s policy of trying to engineer gender ideology into every aspect of public life is over.”
HHS announced that it is implementing policies “protecting children from chemical and surgical mutilation, as directed by President Trump’s Executive Order 14187 [Jan. 28] and keeping men out of women’s sports as specified in Executive Order 14201 [Feb. 5].”
Today, the HHS Office launched a new webpage designed to promote and provide resources based on sex-based definitions from recent HHS guidance.
These definitions specify ‘Sex’ as a person’s immutable biological classification as either male or female; ‘Female’ as a person with a reproductive system designed to produce eggs, and ‘Male’ as one designed to produce sperm. Additional terms defined include ‘Woman’ as an adult human female, ‘Girl’ as a minor human female, ‘Man’ as an adult human male, ‘Boy’ as a minor human male, ‘Mother’ as a female parent, and ‘Father’ as a male parent.
