WASHINGTON (Worthy News) – Donald J. Trump, who at 78 will become America’s oldest president to take office, will call for a “revolution of common sense” during his inaugural address, according to prepared remarks.
An incoming White House official said Monday that he would also issue executive orders upon taking office slashing diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and proclaiming that the U.S. federal government “will only recognize two sexes, male and female. ”
“I return to the presidency confident and optimistic that we are at the start of a thrilling new era of national success. A tide of change is sweeping the country,” Trump was expected to say, according to the remarks.
“My message to Americans today is that it is time for us to once again act with courage, vigor, and the vitality of history’s greatest civilization.”
Trump on Monday caps a historic comeback and embarks on an agenda that includes mass deportations, steep tariffs, and slashing the size of the federal government, as well as pledges to solve major world conflicts ranging from the Middle East to the war in Ukraine.
Yet he has also made it clear he is in favor of a more conservative agenda regarding what he considers woke issues, such as the ongoing debate about genders as well as abortion.
